Grounded uses the stories of real people in real time to help us see how mindfulness can change the course of a person’s life. If it can change the course of one life, then could it not do the same for our communities and then to an entire country... maybe even to the world?

Are we ready to water these little seeds of light?

— Valerie June, Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter

From a scene in the film Me and the Light, people stand outside historic Clayborn Temple in Memphis, TN, holding up signs, which together form the eyes of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, as they reimagine the iconic "I Am A Man" photo by Ernest Withers.

GROUNDED IN EDUCATION

Since 2018, the Grounded Learning Experience has reached more than 2,000 students at Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.

This 10-module curriculum promotes the unique power of creative expression to help students and educators process and respond to daily life.
